BEFORE THERE WAS A "BLUE LINE" IT WAS CALLED THE "OHARE/DOUGLAS" AND PRIOR TO THAT IT WAS THE "DOUGLAS/MILWAUKEE" LINE SO ON AND SO ON:
IN THIS THREAD I WILL BE POSTING SOME PICS FROM MY COLLECTION OF OLD CHICAGO TRAINS,BUSES AND TRANSIT LINES OF THE PAST....SORRY THEIR WASNT ALOT OF TAGS AND BURNERS ON THE LINE BACK IN THE 1970'S AND EARLYER BUT NEVER THE LESS THESE PICS ARE TIMELESS AND CLASSIC PARTS OF CHICAGO TRANSIT HISTORY....

It's good to see that chicago had an express lane back then.Those antenna just look funny on top of the marina towers. |

Looks like Howard St. There was an old bank called North Shore National bank on Howard street and that looks like it in the picture. Nice flick! |
