My apologies if this is many years late and I didn't search the forums (endlessly) for a R.I.P. topic about "Heckle" Marty...a giant of a man with a child like heart. The sweetest human being and kindest GIANT I have ever met. He treated me like a little brother the moment I met him. His warm smile and big personality used to resonate the Belmomt platform at weekday writer hook-ups with the utmost positivity. He will never be forgotten and he should always be remembered. He was so powerful yet so kind, and always looked out for me when I was just a kid in the Big City. He was a pioneer and WAY ahead of his time. With the LARGEST amount of love and respect. Rest well Heckle. Miss you so, so much.

Both days will be at
Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church
3253 W. Wilson
(off of Spaulding between Kedzie and Kimball)
Chicago, Illinois, 60625

Friday December 19th, doors open at 6:00 pm and prayers and sharing stories will start at 6:30 pm.

Sahis little brown one. ay December 20th, doors open at 10 am and Memorial Church Service starts promptly at 10:30 am. Lunch to follow.

*PLEASE BRING AN UNWRAPPED TOY (s) to the funeral IN HONOR of Marty/ Hek to be passed out at our 1st Annual Heckle Fresh Toy Drive and Kids B-Boy Battle that afternoon! There will be a table for the donations in the back of the church.

If you would like to bring a dish, dessert, pop, or water bottles for either day you are welcomed to bring them to the church basement when you arrive.
